PHP can be installed as an apache module or as a binary that acts like a CGI script, as a CGI script you cannot use htaccess directives to control php

During last days research, I found that hosting companies offering cheap hosting even reseller plans are not good at service and support, I too needed hosting last days so I spent more than a week on searching for cheap and reliable host. I read reviews about those hosting services on WebhostingTalk and other sites.

All those hosting sites offering reseller hosting below than 20$per month don't have goos reviews. Most of their customers were shouting abt down time and poor support. So I will recommend you not to buy hosting from a company which offers lots of space and bandwidth for just 4 or 5$.

I'm a programmer not a designer nor an SEO expert, I have more than one server for my personal use on the same network as that machine and its very reliable on a 100meg totally redundant connection.

http://hozter.info was pr2 last time I checked and has dropped becuase another site I own is parked on top http://cpanelhostingservice.com just because I haven't gotten round to doing it yet.

anyways i have more 2 months to think. then my current hosting package going to expire.

 

i don't know why but i think ur r honest. still really confused wat to do. i really don't care for PR n all but all i want is good uptime. and fast server. i don't have any tech knowladge. don't know wat is 100 meg redundant. but again i m going to have faith on u

 

for me 2 GB is more then enough to host all my 4 site

100meg is about the fastest connection there is, and redundant means it would take a miracle for power to go down.

 

Yeh Host Gator is also a good company but their rates are also high. You are in India? I know a person from India who offers free hosting to quality site.

Yes you are right, using free hosting is a bit risky, I have lost my websites two times.

I think you can trust krakjoe. He is really helping and here all the time helping guys in programming problems.
