Why is it 14 Days to start a thread in buy and sell....

I want to get selling and i have my posts but 14 days........ i got 1 week off and i cant even make a thread anyone agree or disagree it should be changed?

 

A little friendly advice get some rep on DP before you ask for 'reinventing the wheel'

DP will welcome you always but work hard with your posts and earn respect first

 

I'm new to DP too but think that the 14 day rule is there for a reason.

I kind of like the way it has to be earned and isn't just given out willy nilly.

it helps the new ones. say someone just joined and started breaking the rules, he will be banned before he knew what is dp all about .

in 14 days, he can learn a lot , and enjoy the great world of dp

 

I'm new also and have been affected directly by it as I wished to make a legit post there, but I have to vote for leave it as it is. Seems like a great idea.

Yep - that's good rule - i think it should be kept (or may be even time period increased from 14 to 21 or 25 days).

It's there to prevent spam. Man i see so many threads like this daliy. They are not going to change it because of just one poll.

It should be kept as it is. Atleast DP is spam free.

 

to me, we should respect the rule set by DP..
we should join the thread and share our knowledge. there are many thread in DP that i think everyone has something fresh/valuable to share..
just my 2 cents

 

I think it should be lifted, but only if the new member gives an outrageous amount of money for the advertising. Waiting two weeks is the current price, and according to the number of threads asking this, its a price likely worth some cash...
