Does adding your RSS feeds to Google Reader get you listed faster?

    For new wordpress blogs and such, say you had a bunch of people add your RSS feed to their Google Reader.. Would google factor this in and list you faster? Good for backlinks?

    rss feeds do the "blog and ping" function, and calls the search engines spiders to index a website. i use this method to get my blogs indexed in 24 hours.:)
