PR4 & Top 10 too easy? I got them in 14 days!

To be frank-- I am short of time--recently bought two sites --need to promote them for whole of this month.
And that project is mammoth! However ordered content creation of around 20-30K words for another site on tourism guide

 

Don’t choose your keywords from amount of competitors Google showing you.
Keyword “India 35” has 131,000,000 competitors and it will be very easy to get on the top 10. Do you want to rank well for this keyword?
Find competitive keywords (wordtracker is good for this) then do the search and see what kind of competitors on the top 10 and if it is possible to compete with them.

 

How long does it take for Google to show backlinks? Any ideas?

 

in the webmaster central there is a new tools, named links. the backlinks are available there. it shows about 200 for my one month old blog.

 

That will show all links - but is not a indicator of what will show in the future using the normal backlink check. Google only shows a fraction of backlinks - and they update it whenever they feel like it.

 

hehe this sounds to me an "false alarm"
