I heard about this site a few years ago and it sounded fishy so i passed now i see there ads all on tv and in newspapers...Has anyone ever used there dedicated servers......do they really give you all that space for that low a price?? Are there servers fast?
godaddy for buying domain name is excellent. Did not hear very good things regarding hosting however on this forum.
Cheap for domains, but not the best in terms of service & functionality per $ for hosting...at least in my experience. I have some sites hosted with them without problem so far....
Tons of domain with them, best support regarding domains, however their VPS and Dedicated servers have much left to be wished for.
Godaddy is good to purchase domain but take my word for it don't host with them.there hosting service is so so weak. instead try to purchase your domain at godaddy and host with onother company. just my advise
Great for buying domain names, their hosting is ok, i never purchased a dedicated server from them but I did buy hosting and their support is pretty fast.
I have never tried their hosting, but love buying domains through them, you can find some really good deals...
If you want to register domains with them than they are great! But if your going to get hosting with them i recommend you to stay away from them. Try hostgator.com or bluehost.com . Great hosts. - Prilep
alright - i know a few people who host with them. just, not happy with their customer support or their control panel. they need to invest in plesk.
I currently use godaddy for my domain name, and it's worked out well so far. I have yet to use them for hosting.
seems like there is a consensus on the domain name part of their business - 10 out of 10 -they are great as far as hosting and their site building software - I have used it and found it difficult to use - however, customer sevice was still top notch
One thing on the negative side — if you choose to use GoDaddy's email, their message filtering options are very limited. I have two email addresses with them and, sad to say, a lot of junk email gets past GoDaddy to my computer. Fortunately, my Mac Mail program has a much more sophisticated message filtering capability, so I can make some "rules" to trash the junk. But GoDaddy should have more than its very primitive message filtering capability for their email accounts. I shouldn't have to let junk email get past the server to my computer before I can trash it.
My sites are hosted in Go Daddy. Their support is indeed excellent. I like to register my domains at name cheap though.
