Or you can make a really good content site, work your butt off... I have a site thats making me about $10-20 a day on adsense its been online a year so i hope i can get 10x the traffic when google starts putting mys ite up a bit higher. I think its do-able. Then again, all your eggs in one basket? maybe not the best policy... who knows.
Yes i always though setup 1 excellent site is way better than 100 set n forget sites. But reading allot of forums i have been seeing more people recommend having hundreds of sites earning little. Maybe it is to cut any risks.
Plus don't forget about things like text-link-ads, which can help generate quite a bit of revenue as well.
We used to find 5-6 dollars a day with adsense on one site until they change the rules a bit at the start of the year but overall it isnt a bad still, but weve been ex[erimenting with other companies. As for 100 sites a day, I think it's generally possible if you can get other people to market the site for you. Like a free hosting site with ads of coarse.
At first it takes a while to build up a network of sites like that. It's similar to the porn industry. You build a site, get it submitted, SEO and have traffic. Then you leave it and start on your next site. You will never have to look at any of your old sites again. Checking the stats on all the sites on a monthly or bi-weekly schedule you can see which sites are out performing the others, then you go back to those sites and build them up more. I use to have hundreds of porn sites that I never looked at again and earned decent money. It wasn't until I sold them that I had realized I had 250 sites. Thought I only had 50 or so. lol.
This is what i want to do start allot of sites as i continue building them the first starts getting traffic as i finish the last but is it this easy. I just dont see how i can get traffic without link building and marketing on a daily basis.
When you have a lot of sites proper cross linking with good anchor text and relevancy can get you ranking for some low competition keywords. Also as you build up one site, that link juice flows to the linked-to sites, so with proper cross linking you are working on promoting a network of related sites and anything you do for one site in the network will help grow the network as a whole.
They just give free stuff away and they make you enter your email before they give you what your looking for. They get for example 200,000 emails and then they just send and email to all of them and there you go. - Prilep
I used practice this technique of having a lot of low-maintenance sites but I sold them all and have since found that it is easier to have one or two bigger sites and it also earns me much more money and revenue stays steadier and more reliable.
It's just experience. I'd rather be caught cooking fries at McDonalds than submitting articles, adding links to directories, or other SEO related activities. It drives me nuts to do that kind of work, just a personal preference. I can however get traffic from day 1 and SE traffic in a couple of days max. Keep at it, the more you learn the better off you are. Cheers
I suppose it is as one site get traffic you can work with this to get it to your other sites the newsletter is a good idea to start with. Allot of input to read through.
Easy - you start with just one site, and start to build it up. Once it's up and running, making $1 per day, move on to your next site. And on and on.
Another thing that is interested is what do some use to produce hundreds of site because sites such as niche portal builder they produce poor content and the rest are all the same. What would you think is used by webmaster building 10s of sites a day.
I think WebMD is used a lot, all of the carpal tunnel Anyways, a lot of niche sites don't even use adsense, instead they use affiliate programs. Those make it much easier to monetize. And also, a lot of sites built using products such as niche portal builder are getting removed from the SE's every day. The big search engines are becoming wiser and know they should get rid of those worthless 1 page sites, especially since most of the time they steal content. If the sites are not removed then they usually get much lower rankings in a few weeks time. If you don't want to get into the same category as spam sites then make less niche sites, and make them bigger (10-20 pages instead of 1-5), and put actual content on them and not just "If you buy this cream your cancer will be gone!".
What if i had 200 sites that had smae content on would this not work for rankings or would this be ok for the aim of $1 a day.
Believe it or not some people actually do that. They start a site with a bunch of content on a profitable niche, then start about 20 other sites (subdomain or regular domain) using similar content, link them all together, and they make quite a bit of money doing that.
you would get banned quick for dupe content, but big adsense promoters dont make all those sites by hand, they automate everything for quick profits mk
