Want to Sell JAVA Content Websites

I am basically a webmaster for Java Sites. A Java Programmer as well. My sites together make around anything between $100 - $200 a month. The sites are picking up both in terms of value and popularity everyday. I am looking for $4500 to pay my tution feess for Engineering. The following are my sites.

1. http://www.beginner-java-tutorial.com [CORE JAVA + JAVA SWING ] 100+ PAGES

2. http://www.jdbc-tutorial.com [ JDBC Tutorial]

Good sites. Why are you sellig them?

 

There are 2 reasons why I am selling these sites. One being I am full time involved in J2EE development work and also I have plans of doing MS and hence this can be a quick start for my fees.

I just dont want the sites for adsense earning. I want someone to buy this site and build upon to make it atleast the second best . 1st best being Sun Java SIte. Java Programming is a passion for me and now that I dont have time to update this site, I dont want the site to rott.

You may ask why a sudden drop in Jan 2007.

Basically I owned 3 sites. The above 2 as mentioned + http://www.java-swing-tutorial.com

I wanted to kill an extra domain (java-swing-tutorial.com ) and migrate all its content to http://www.beginner-java-tutorial.com

So people could not reach the already famous java swing tutorial site initially thru search engines. Things must improve as i have mgrated all the Swing content (which is a complete site by itself)in my beginner-java-tutorial.com site and it would take some time for the search engine spiders to list it.

All the 3 sites together are my revenue generators and these sites have a heavy good potential of Adsense Earning.

All 3 sites are hardly 4 to 5 months old. And they have already earned 300+. So you can imagine what its future is going to be like

Just a friendly suggestion: i heard in different places saying that if your site makes x per month then you should normally sell it for 10x. So in my opinion your price is too high.

But of course you spent your time on them and you decide on the price!

This is true! If you can make them PR5, you can get lots more!

 

Yeah Thats true! But then These sites are hardly 4 months old & they are doing gr8. I am not looking for any calculated income as I am worked like crazy on these sites and never had time for anything. This is all I accept dude. About the page rank Google Updates only twice a year. So probably in my next update it will surely shoot up...

I am sorry to say but your both site worth nowhere near to $4500.

Because your sites are only 3 months old. You do not have good statistics to back up your traffic /AdSense income. Even if you do, a site normally goes for 10 to 12 months of income. If a site has really good future potential it could goes up to 18/20 months.
I will even hesitate to pay $600/700 for your site. It is just my opinion. Sorry if I hurtt your feeling about your sites. I'm trying to be honest. Again this is just me…ignore it if you don’t like my comments.
