Torrent client

I use to get slow speeds as well. I had to turn a setting on my router to make it download at faster speeds.

 

which setting was that?

 

uTorrent. The best by far.

Azureus has more features, but takes up a hell of a lot of memory.

 

I have a netgear router, it was the pnp setting to on.

 

I followed this twice now and still can't get the fricken thing working right! I'm tired of 4kb/ps!!

 

And I'm still getting this! Grrr.

 

Another vote for utorrent.

 

Change the port to 6881 then, that is the port you configured for bittorrent.

 

i started the process all over from scratch and still no good.

 

Azureus works wonderfully for me..

 

Hmm, well bittorrent configuration is very tricky and I'm not sure what else to do, sorry!

 

no worries. i think i've reached the stage where i'll just bang my head against the wall.

if i were to plug straight into the modem and bypass the router all together, would that solve the problem?
