My photos turn out flat..

    Anyone got any tips for me to improve? I know the Camera is shit, but that is all I can afford ;). Everytime I do a photo it looks flat as hell!

    What camera are you using? How does it gauge the light and therefore exposure? Can you manually overide the aperture settings or is it fixed?

    You need to work on your composition - for depth you need; foreground, middle and distance. Without having all three components as part of your picture landscapes are always going to look flat.

    I think you need to look for a better point of reference than merely a landscape. You also need to do some creative cropping.

    There are plenty of free tutorials on the web for taking creative photos
