When do you think the war on Iraq will be won?
When do you think the insurgency will end?
When do you think the Iraqis will embrace the U.S. troops as liberators?
Is it possible to be won?

If the war cannot be won, should we keep throwing more soldiers and money in the fire?

I personally think that the war on terror, of which the war in iraq is a part, will last for a long time. I'm not sure it will ever be "done". And are you saying we should just retreat if the war can't be won, which would allow the terrorists to set up camp in baghdad?

Do you believe that our soldiers went in Iraq to fight terrorists and to eliminate their bases?

Gtech is not responding ....... for well known reasons.

No, the reason we went into Iraq is the following:
1.To remove Saddam (who at the time we thought was pursuing Nukes, we know he already had WMDs since they have been found)
2.Saddam had a link to Al Qaida, which has been proved over and over
    3. There are others, but I think those two are the main ones...

Furthermore, don't you find it surprising how quickly the terrorists got to Iraq? They were there awful quick and well equipped...sounds to me like they had support, not only from Iraq, but also from Syria and Iran...

Because I was dealing with a few nutjobs who were extremely upset that more islamic "extremism" has been exposed and they don't want anyone to know.

    One nutjob at a time.

Now, didn't we just cover this? I seem to remember posting:

    http://www.newmediajournal.us/guest/e_jeffers/02012007.htm
Would you say this soldier is talking about you, ST12? Are you guilty of doing what he describes?

Also, do you want the US to pull out so terrorists can take over in Iraq?

    Yes,
I do think we get to get out and cut the losses of lives and Blns.

People don't like us over there for sure.
The more people die ther greater the hatred they'll have for us.

Love is the most powerful weapon. Not WARS!

Yes, when cornered, you have one statement, then redirect that non-outrage right back to the messengers who are aware.

Are you following GTech around trying to make your case? It sounds like that to me...now back on topic...I really would like to know how many of the Iraqi's already consider the US to be liberators...I recall seeing lots of happy people with blue ink on their fingers more than once on the news...

Actually, we were considered as such and our troops were greeted as such, with flowers and gifts. Four years later, things change. Most people against the war don't like to talk about the muslim terrorists that kill other muslims day in and day out, nor who would take over if the US pulled out before the Iraqi Army is ready.

Losing is not an option so it will definitely go down as a WIN for the USA!

I think they're making plans for the "Mission Accomplished II" party by the end of 2007.

But they wont admit to it, as it would only strengthen the enemy. :D

Actually, I've covered that quite extensively here and I believe I've covered it with you before. Now that you are aware, will you continue to give aid and comfort by saying it's BS? Or, like with Lorien1973, will you ignore it because it doesn't fit your agenda?

There is no "war on Iraq". We are not at war with Iraq.

Our troops have already been welcomed as liberators. We are spreading freedom and democracy.

Insurgencies and terrorism will never stop. We can only quell it and keep it on the move. Make it impossible for them to attack us.

    The fight must go on.

    Simple.

There is no war in Iraq. Didn't you read Gtech posts? It is all Media's fault that print false reports that there is a war in Iraq and American soldiers and Iraq's civilian are getting killed. Bush has already said that the war is finished and he is following the path. President wouldn't lie, would he?
The only solution is to close all the newspapers and force journalists to write that there is no war in Iraq and everybody having a good time there and all the problems are solved

Whats funny is the starting with Vietnam, every war we have fought has gotten major press as opposed to before Vietnam...did you know that the US actually won more battles in Vietnam? But due to the poor press and the liberal controlled govt...we were out of there quick...Hello communism...its the same thing we will experience if shrillary gets in office. She is the most socialistic person in congress right now.
