I think its more than fair. It helps prevents garbage / spam advertising. If a product is worth marketing, you'll wait 14 days.. otherwise.. its probably not worth advertising to begin with.

I get this feeling you wont last another week on Digital Point. Most people are capable of realizing there are forum rules in place for a reason. Sadly, it sounds like you're dissapointed that you wont be able to pull off a quick "scam-n-run". With this aside, lets assume I'm completely wrong about you. Even if I am wrong, your public relations skills need a lot of work so people probably would not buy your myspace spam anyway. Like I said, if your product is worth promoting, you'll work hard to see that it becomes successful. A 14 day waiting period should not make you mad unless you're angry you cant screw someone before Valentines Day.

Actually, three threads have been made with in the last 24 hours, and one '1 day old' thread!! DA, or members from the same company joining at the same time and all trying to get rid of that anti-SPAM rule!!! daniel-s, MyspacePromosNow, propstm, Ali Roman.....
If they would put half the effort into legitimately using Digital Point instead of all the time and effort they have wasted complaining / creating multiple accounts, they would have reached the 14 day mark without looking stupid.
