I'm trying to figure out why my company name is not appearing beside my title. I have named it in the title, Home; East 2 West Connections... but only "home" shows on the yahoo search engine. Anyone have any ideas why this is?
Strange, particularly since Google is fine. Since your hosting is through Yahoo, any chance you can call/e-mail them to get some assistance? Anita
I think you need to optimize your site for yahoo but you have not mentioned does it appearing in google?
yeah, but I hate that because they allways send me a page from their help section "that I've read"...then I have to email them back to tell them it didnt help...then they send me another email....asking if they can access my site with my password.....then I send them my password.....then they send me another email telling me what to do.. the whole thing should take about a week. I'm in China so usually calling them is not feasible. but I guess I will start the process today, thanks for the reply.
Why dont you at least remove "Home:" from your title tag and see how that goes once its spidered again.
Hi, Just remove the : It's a break in the yahoo crawler. I would make it Home- or something else. Mike
