Besides just reading the title of the thread and posting here trying to get visitors to your political forum, did you even bother to read and comprehend the point I was making?

Ha, idiot. I understood your "point", apparently you didn't understand mine. "Fair and balanced" is a slogan used to sell his product. If this was anything else being sold, people would get that. When it comes to politics, suddenly peeps like you get all retarded about it.

"We watch FOX so you don't have to."

Is this an MFA news site? Not sure if I should read, or click an adsense ad :D

Is this the same Rupert Murdoch that voted for Al Gore?

No the point is that people actually believe that slogan. So yeah, you missed it.

There you go. All better *head pats*

Why yes it is. It doesn't at all change what he said... but yes FYI it's the same person.

Hillary voted for the war and I'm also black, but surprisingly articulate.

So how does this compare to CNN, CBS, ABC and NBC taking an anti-war stance and (at least CNN) airing enemy propaganda? Or Reuters actively doctoring photos? Or the Associated (with terrorists) Press making up a stringer by the name of Jamil Hussein and crediting 42 anti-war stories to him, when he doesn't exist? I guess you are upset that at least one side doesn't report what you want to hear?

Of course they help the Bush agenda...they tell the truth as opposed to the lies of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, etc...

All media outlets have a bias, to hate fox news because their bias is not the same as most other news networks is not fair and balanced at all :)

The source seems to be objective...lol. Especially with this picture on their site.

LOL stop trying to blow this up into something it's not.

Your tactic is always whenever someone from your side screws up to just point back and say "well your side screws up too"! A great playground method of avoiding just admitting that your side screwed up but allow me to disarm you:

All I said was that Murdoch admitted he was biased and that his network tried to help the Bush agenda. Just stating a fact. Nothing more. Not saying the other news organizations aren't biased too. I can't watch MSNBC without coming away feeling like I got too much far left on me. That's why I watch Fox news as well, to get the other side.

It's just the motto is "fair and balanced" when everyone knows all the top personalities on the network are conservative radio talk show hosts by day. I'd just like to know what they have against admitting they are the conservative network while the rest are liberal.

So unfortunately for your argument, this thread was just to prove that point not vindicate the other networks. Find another angle. :)

First off, Murdoch has admitted Fox has a conservative slant. Secondly, it's not exactly in Fox's or MSNBC's best interest to blurt out ''look at how slanted we are'' over and over. Afterall, it's about the ratings not the political agenda anyways or they'd just replicate C-Span.

And all I said was that other networks have admitted they are against Bush and will do anything to make sure their coverage relays that mesage. What's the beef?

Apparently there is none. It seems you agree with everything I said in this thread and just wanted to point at the other side due to lack of a rebuttal.

I can understand that. *handshake* No beef.
