Hey Scott, I've just been reading this thread and must say "congratz!" on your efforts I hope you reach Goal #2 if not Goal #3 by Easter.
Thanks man! Much appreciated. Now that I've done this in the 20 days since I started, I feel like I can reach those goals by Easter. Goal #3 is $400, as I keep doubling them each time so hopefully doubling $100 doesn't take too long. I must say.. taking risks is scary as hell, but it's proven to be worth it. - Scott
Good luck with your experiment. I have been using clickbank and adwords for about 9months now. My best day was around the $500 mark but i regularly pull in $100-200. My advice would be to try test as many products as you can. You'll be amazed at how much some of the more obscure niches perform.
if u sell 8 products, than u probably made for each product, your own page on a one domain name, or a subdomains, what is the most technic that u use to promote the items?
You make an eBook or something (one that can be checked and approved and testimonal-ed by us here) to show that making that type of money is simple.
Thanks man. :] Yeah, I'm pretty proud. Today is looking like it's going to be another great day for sales! So I'm not slacking, I'm adding as many campaigns as I can. Diversifying my product portfolio. - Scott
That's outstanding. I wonder how much you pay to get $100-500 though. I want to make $1k/day profit so I have to work out the math, based on putting more money back into advertising and the losses I take on advertising but at this point, it doesn't seem like that's too far away. Perhaps in six months or so.
I'm not sure what you're asking but if you mean, what technique do I use to promote the items then it's just aggressive advertising. Also, after recently finding that a couple of the products I was moving were scams, I decided not to support them anymore. I don't want to promote products that don't help people. So there you have it. I advertise on all three major PPC services (AdWords, AdCenter and Panama) and I push products I have either tried or that my friends have tried and I market them aggressively.
Already one step ahead of you! A friend and I are working on not only a how-to but also software that will help you get better results. I'm set to get a much higher ROI on the products I'm pushing because of the techniques we're formulating. So hopefully that's in the not-too-distant future.
Oh, hey- speaking of not-too-distant future.. would you guys mind giving me a digg on my most recent blog post? Sorry if this is rude -- I'm not sure. I do brag a bit in the post but I also provide some helpful (albeit generic) advice. Anyway, here's the link if you want to help a struggling internet marketer out - http://digg.com/business_finance/ClickBank_Experiment_Part_III
1.what is ROI? 2.what are the stats on adcenter? % converssion, clicks per day, pos ad, total impression per day. 3.u use CB or CJ? apriciate your help
1. ROI = Return On Investment or Net Profit (Gross Sales - Cost) 2. I don't think I should give those out, sorry. 3. I use both
my adwords spend is about $10-20 per day another tip for clickbank is that if you find a product with a lot of interest which doesn't convert very well then try finding some private label articles relating to the topic and create your own eBook where you can control the sales page and price.
I agree with you. The problem then becomes getting other people to promote the book, give you good reviews, etc., but I suppose if you promote what you're selling enough, you'll get a higher gravity on ClickBank in the process. Either way, it's always better to have other people doing the grunt work. Right now, I'm doing the grunt work though. Hey, I noticed the squidoo thing in your signature. I've been noticing that a lot lately. What do you do with it?
I create landing pages for clickbank products and post them on squidoo. Then I go get a few links and hey presto you starting ranking in the organic results pretty quickly. I try to have both a paid and organic listing in the results for my products.
Yeah, same here. I get almost as many organic clicks as I do paid ones. I think I mentioned that before, but it's true. I don't even think I submitted a couple of my landing pages to search engines at all and they were added within a week due to the ads. If this is an SEO technique, I didn't know about it before then.
Last month get 3 sales by using Adwords, but after that no more sales. Now trying to create a landing page hope will generate sales soon.
Yeah, I agree. The majority of my sales come from my landing pages, but I do get some here and there that are direct link sales. So I would say it's excellent to have both. - Scott
