Most offices have paper. Crinkle it up and stuff your pants and shirt with it. You will crinkle all the way home, but you'll have extra insulation.

That's something I have always wondered about. I am not used to cold weather since I have always lived in Mexico, but when I was at Vancouver a couple of weeks ago my face would feel like an ice cube. How do you protect it? With a ski mask or what?

I don't want to look like if I was just about to rob a bank, what do people do to warm their face in cold weather?

I would rather walk around with purple swollen cheeks than wear a ski mask.

I guess you could wrap a scarf around your head, but that looks better on girls than guys.

But you shouldn't have too many problems with frost bite in Vancouver. It stays pretty warm there compared to central Canada. You've been spoiled in Mexico with such warm weather!

I had to buy one of those ugly wool hats (which made me look like a hobo) to cover my ears, and wraped a scarf around my face in order to make the cold air more bearable.

When you have lived all your life in a place where any day in winter never goes below 25 celcius, the weather in Vancouver feels like if you were in Siberia

I lived all my life with 35C to 50C , and i do not think saskatoon feels like siberia, i like cold. Cause u can protect urself even if it makes u look like a hobo, but u cannot protect urself from hot sun and pig like sweating.

I wonder is anyone ever satisfied with weather conditions where they live. Like here in houston we hate high 90s when i was in Ohio i used to hate -es when i go to Pakistan i like the weather but people living there tell me its the worst weather not cold not hot. When i visited Siera leon (Africa) I loved that rainy season but natives hate it so much. :D:D:D

It was hot here southern California, 80F or 32C. I heard from a collegue in Detroit it was well below freezing. They call California the land of fruits and nuts but I'd say not living anywhere that windchill factor gets discussed or humidity is the talk of the summer, is nuts.

Anyone want to bump the global warming thread? :D  :p
