well i just finshed up setting up a proxy site (www.fuseix.com)... my first to date and i thought i share it with you guys and get your opinions... first id like to know what you think of the layout? it is up to web 2.0 standards in my eyes (Valid XHTML, CSS, design.) so please give me suggestions and comments for things to change as i can modifythe source code ... tyr it out if you want also.. its on a dedicated server so speeds should be faster then other shared hosting proxys and best of all cookies work great for sites like myspace www.fuseix.com
URL Form | Manage Cookies Those two links don't work. Also, you should add a paragraph of text as it is against Adnsense TOS to have a site without text but with ads. It looks nice [Colleen's templates rock]. Keep it up! Awesome for a first proxy.
http://www.fuseix.com/ Ads are very well blended together. I agree, try adding some text. Maybe what a proxy is,etc (allows you to go on myspace even when it's blocked at school/work) for those who don't know lol. It's filler text that's relevant to your site. You could play around with keywords in your paragraph too (for better ads)

EDIT: didnt see the first post!... yea those two links dont work for some reason in the skin or proxy script cuz it hasnt been implemented yet... but ill try to some how remove them or do something to make them links... and i didnt kno it was against TOS to not have text :O
Yes. If you already have a meta-tag description paragraph in your tags, just place it again as filler text Saves you time.
well i have updated the site so far... take a look... removed link unit up top and added meta and bookmark link... and one question would i be able to add a google search field from adsense on there? or is it against TOS?
You want to add a google adsense search field on your site? There's one available @ adsense. You can use that one.
Here's what I think of the template: you bought it from phproxythemes.com, nice buying. How did you get phproxy to work with Myspace though?

yes exactly what i was asking for but is it ok with google's TOS? the script itself un modded works with myspace... this is version 0.4 but i think the new beta doesnt work with myspace and other "cookie" sites now... weird eh? might also be that your missing some PHP binaries? i dont either but placement there is better for hits... and its put there by default by the style... the server is up... always has been but did you get this from main site or while using the proxy itself? and thanks for all your siggestions keep em coming
For the adsense search: Yes it's okay! It's available in adsense (just login) you can earn some $$ off it too! Let me know if you can't find it... I'll give you some instructions

well the 2 links that dont work are the makers fault ... even in there demo the links dont work and i didnt notice so it sux but maybe in future ill change the layout, and well the adsense colors were also default in the style and they seem to blend in well... and how do i promote this? so far its been by word of mouth through buddies on IM services but Proxy Toplists are also very good... maybe directory listings?
directory submissions won't help try submitting to top sites and buy cheap text links from other high traffic sites will help i thinks
