I always make it a point to check and see if the owners name of the domain, lines up with those who is selling the links. It is generally real that way. If you want good pr links ( Give Me a Ring) I know I know, no adverts he he, I just couldn't resist!

It's a shame. many other service providers will be affected even though they have high ITrader.

This thread is an eye opener. Many webmasters are still innocent and rely on sellers. Fake link sellers cash this and rip them off. I think one should write some tips on choosing the right link partner. Ahkip can you do this in this thread?

    Update:

    Received a PM.

This is the first time to guy has logged into DP in a week which I do believe. He has refunded the amount for the second link I bought and says he will keep the first links hosted so I do not need to do anythign with that, I thought orignally in retaliation he would just remove them.

It looks as though he has refunded honestly, however I still believe he acted VERY dishonestly when selling, in regard to the fact that he knew full well I was purchasing the links for SEO reasons, and he was using a cloaked domain with 301 redirect.

I dont know how he is doing it or why. (301 is just a thought) but I mena google indexes a different site STILL.

    Thanks.

I agree, tell us who this person is so we don't make a mistake in trusting someone who shouldn't be trusted.

Will keep my subscription to this thread active just in case any names of fraudulent traders come out.
No point in keeping them secret, given enough time for the situation to be corrected and failed to do so.
I dould even open a separate section for that purpose. Let everyone know who is who..
