    Hi all,

today I went to check my website and it had a nice 'account suspended' message. The site in question is http://www.freestockimages.net

I contacted my hosting provider and after months of continual attack it seems the hackers have finaly crippled it!

The site gets over 400 unique visitors per day and I put a lot of work into it. We will just have to see what happens from here.

Just wanted to remind you all to make sure you always look after your sites and try and change passwords regularly. If you ever spot hackers do your best to stop them (even if its a poor site, stop them on the principal!)

Anyway, this post is supposed to just be a reminder for us all of the threats we have online!

    Regards. Chris.

Good luck with getting your site back online, and yes hackers should find something better to do then waste it on hurting people.

What host are you using for your site? And, switch hosts.

If your host can't deal with hackers then you shouldn't do business with them.

Make sure you set your file permissions properly (644) when using open source tools as well, otherwise they're huge hacker targets

The site is hosted at http://www.2mhost.com, I bought the site from someone a while ago and they had already paid upfront for a year. Im going to move it as soon as pos.

The site only used the photostore script from http://www.ktools.net , Im probably going to relaunch the whole site, same subject but different service probably.

My host changed my passwords automatically when there was a brute force attack. So i dont think i have to worry, they changed it to a random 10 letter and number string.
