How can i stop google and yahoo from indexing a certain page on my web site? also how can i get the previously indexed page out of the serps?
Use noindex in the meta tags - And to remove content: http://www.1stsearchenginerankings....tent-from-the-google-index-and-301-redirects/
Hilarious. Almost all of this page is scraped from http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35301&topic=8459 and http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35302 and etc. And then at the bottom of "your" page we see:
You're an idiot, visio. First, you post a link to your sorry site instead of to the Google information. Then, it turns out that the link leads to a direct copy of said Google information. Then you have the nerve to post a copyright notice at the bottom of that page. And finally you post some nonsense about tags. Let me make it simple for you: You cannot copyright something that you have stolen from somebody else's copyrighted material. That's just dumb beyond words.
You'd better quit the insults mate or you won't be a member here any longer. I suggest you cool down. I was trying to help the guy. And so far he/she has had NO trouble with that. But I am sure you disrupting the thread is annoying. Hes one of those guys with a high opinion of himself. A status that only he can reach. We call it 'know-it-alls' around here. Not sure what you guys call it.
More nonsense. "Helping the guy" would have been pointing him to the Google webmaster pages, not to your personal ripoff of those pages. What you did is called "self-promotion" - and clumsy self-promotion at that.
What don't you let the author of this thread decide. Not to mention it being absolutely none of your business what I publish on my site.
careful jaybong, minstrate likes to give red rep to those who disagree with him,, this lamer has given me 99% of my red rep.. Honestly, I don't see why he even shows up here, other then to act like he knows what hes talking about
