$20 Logo Contest

Hi!

I need a logo for a new link directory Im starting. Its called Link-Beam.

My only input is that the writing be a nice blue and it have a beam of light shining somewhere and a tagline something like "Shine a beam of light on your link"

Everything else I will leave to you.

The winner will win $20 to their Paypal account.

I really have no idea what the difference is, maybe you can help. Im going to be using the php link directory so what do you think would be best?

 

flash animations are smoother and can be resized to any size but needs the user to have macromedia plugins in his browser , whereas a gif animation is of predetermined size so you have to tell us the size of the banner .

i think for the directory just nice to use .gif...easy n simple. so what the size do u want?

 

Ok cool. Make it gif and around the 300x150 mark? Doesnt have to be exact, somewhere around that size is fine

I love the blue you have used but Im not sure about the image above. maybe a thicker font and a yellow beam of light on the writing or something?

killerj: Very cool! 2 small things though, could the title font maybe be a rounded, thicker text? and is there any way to make the beam a bit yellower or brighter It took me a while to see it was there lol. I love the idea though!
