What do you do when feeling depressed, do you shop, clean the house, wash the car, or just plain hibernate?
Oh my God. Is it just me or is this the third such thread I've seen this week?! Whats up with all the DP'ers being depressed?!
Hit the gym, and get out of the house many of us work from home and stare at the computer screen 24/7..it can be quite depressing...(i am not those geek who are proud of working all the time without sleeping or getting out of the house)
When I am depressed I just go out with friends and have a great time, you know, like drink and smoke and party!
Soooo true. I put music on while I work so it's not so lonely and booooring. Maybe that works for some?
The most depressing day just past in late January. I listen to music and get very drunk at the weekends.
I will rent a good horror movie flick and will eat lots of junk foods while watching the movie. Makes me forget my depressions.
This time of year is difficult for many. Lack of sunlight. I go to the gym more regular and have just started trying light therapy in the morning.
The gym is great for feeling better. (you release... something.. I can't remember what my professor mentioned in class... either serotonin, endomorphins.. or some chemical that makes you feel better.. have you heard of "runner's high" ?)
Once i got into the gym, there's only three thing on my mind. My muscle, the weight and that hot girl who is running on treadmill
Atleast you weren't feeling sad! My prof said it doesn't always have to be the gym, even simple things such as excersizing (sit ups, treadmill, push ups) at home will do
feeling depression is the best moment to write posts related to my depression and stress blog. also after sometime, when i have lot's of content published there, my depression get's automatically cured.
