Witch MP3 player shall I choose?

    Hello there!
I would like to buy an MP3 player and don't know witch one I should choose. I think I will go for an iPod nano and buy some nice earphones. But what do you recommend? Witch is the best MP3 player out there?

I don't care much for disk storage, just high quality sound and a small device, so I can bring it to the gym.

    Kalle :)

ipod nano!! The earphones sound pretty good too! But over all... it depends on your earphones, you can always get good earphones for cheaper mp3 players and they'll sound just as good.

I like the nano because there's an equalizer option (you can increase, decrease bass, deep, jazz, flat, etc settings for music). If you're picky about that stuff!

I did go for the SanDisk sansa e250, it is just a tiny bit bigger than the Ipod nano, is eazy to use and an overall god player... Only one thing the sound should be higher, even on max it is not as high as i want it.

It's pretty loud. I read somewhere that it shouldn't be placed more than 75% since it may damage hearing:eek: Try using headphones instead of earphones, I tried that with my nano and the sound was really loud!.. and those speakers that you can for the nano of course..

I have the ipod video for traveling and such, and for the gym i just bought a new ipod shuffle yesterday.
I love the headphones , and instead of paying $40 for a set of headphones, I paid $80 for the headphones and a new ipod shuffle!

I saw a lot of unbranded mp3 players selling for cheaply on ebay (like a 4gb player selling for $40), and I am thinking of buying one. Do you have any experience doing this? I don't know if they are lower quality or just cheaper because they are not brand name?

Both me and my wife have a Sony Walkman Bean each - they just plain rule; highly recommended from me.

Nice.:) I was going to add that.. black isn't a great idea if you're not super careful with these things (a scratch would be soo noticable).

I bought an unbraded mp3 cd player a couple years back form china on ebay.

Was not happy with the quality. Plastic was really flimsy and poorly put together. You get what you pay for, I guess.

I have a Sansdisk. I forget the model number, but its the cylinderish one. Works great, plays all the formats, and has a fm turner. You can get a 1 GB for around sixty bucks. As far as the sound level, that is a rip setting I believe.

I don't have an iPod because I'm not into music so much. But I'm thinking of buying Zune soon because I will be working again. Just something I can use while commuting to work. I hope I get enough money for it.

But both of my brothers have an MP3 Player. One of them has a super cheap MP3 player from China or Taiwan. He got it for $30 or less. It doesn't have a brand but it works great. It has a loud speaker and video. My other has an iPod video. Of course, it's waaayy better.
