Relax... that batch was only few days ago. Frankly, approval for regular listings can take up to few weeks.
Also no adult links, sub domains & subfolders.

24 different databases.... Yes, that would be better thing to do. Just pick 1 directory from each IP rather than all 24 directories

Hmmm... yep That really is the question : Are common links database considered by Google as Duplicate content or not?
I considered doing this as win-win situation for everyone.... i.e. I get you all to submit your sites to just 1 master directory... And I will then load your Approved links ( basic approval criteria: no porn spam or subdomains,subfolders) on every batch of directories I build (around a few hundred directories per month maybe).
So all just submit once, appear future directories ...win -win for us all.
Some forummers sat it is duplicate while some say it is not. So I am appehensive about doing this which is why I get separate database submissions.
I would like your feedback on this "Common links database" and if most of you are agreeable I might do this for future directories.
Will also open the window for submissions for longer period. Presently, I have short window for submissions because if I open it too long I will be simply overwhelmed with submissions

Thanks everyone for your feedback and submissions. I am looking at doing a "Common Links Database" so that I get you all to submit once to a master directory and then load the database on all future directories. Would appreciate your comments and what you think of this.

My comment about the single database is that it would save time - but it is actually much better to have a different description on each directory and not have the same link text every time.

 

No. NOT the past submissions (including the batch in this thread) that are already over .
If we do "common links database" thing, we MAY do it only starting from next batch onwards .

 

Hmmm... but how do I do that? Maybe someone can pass me a script or something that randomly modifies the database file by adding spaces or some wildcard characters or something. It must be win-win for us both so if it is easy for submitters the work should not all be transferred to me
Frankly, I am not an SEO expert so welcome inputs on whether same description and same link text makes a lot of difference

I dont think its good idea. I have been submitting in all your directories , but I wouldnt do that anymore, if you would use "master directory" and load it to all other directories.
Its too much of same anchor links and descriptions. I could live with same descriptions, but its dangerous to do same anchors all the time.
