What is your job?

What is your real world job? Mine is what I class as a Digitalpointy, as in if Digitalpoint closed today, I would not have a house next week!

 

I usually say I am in advertising. Which is true. People pay me to advertise their product, service, web site or blog on my network.

For the last several years I developed branding strategies for internet casinos and sportsbooks. The water was getting hot in that market though, and since I'm a US citizen I decided to move on.

For the past year I've been in Asia doing research & analysis for casinos being built in Singapore and Macau. Officially, I am Director of Business Analysis, which is just a fancy way of saying research. I don't even have anyone under me, so who am I suppose to be directing?

I've got a few more months of this left and then I go back to the US to get involved with an upstart television network. More of the same though. Would bore most of you to tears.
