Can anyone tell me what determines the ads on proxy home pages since all they seem to have is a search box and barely any content.
Tanna, can you please say where can I get this script which your sites use for browsing sites via proxy?
They aren't, but if your visitor happens to view some sites related to pornography or gambling you might have problems.
But this is never going to be on the main page though, is it, you cant run Adsense on the proxied pages due to the frame/ adsense only on pages with content rule. Why however do others think that Google doesn't like proxies all round for Adsense? I've read elsewhere that it's not an issue at all on the main page, so talk that this isn't the case naturally if of interest
hi tanna i don't know if your site complies with the adsense tos, but given the clear proximity of the ads with the type in areas on your site, i think most clics are not voluntary : -> clicking errors which will probably result in your account being smartpriced in a few days - weeks. but because the ads are all proxy related, maybe not. how long have you been doing that integration? if it's more than a couple of weeks then you seem safe from smartpricing.
You don't HAVE to use frames for a proxy site. And obviously my comment was aimed at people putting the ads not only on the main page.
Y'all just telling him he will get banned 'cos your jealous. If proxies were illegal then they'd make it clear in TOS
I don't think proxies violate TOS per se, but some do because the webmasters infringe the terms of the adsense regulations as set out in their TOS.
Sometimes when we talk about proxies people tend to think we are using proxies to click on our own ads.
