The NBA just found a basketball player named Sun Ming Ming who is 7'9. He is being touted. Find Out More!
Do you think that just being that tall is enough to make him a good basketball player? I guess at that height he is a force to be reckoned with but how athletic is he? I would rather have guys that are 6'4" and athletic than a wall with weak ankles, he reportedly weighs over 300 pounds!
Well, he is a basketball player, and he is 7'9".... ...but he is not playing in the NBA. He is playing is some other league, why, cause he is not very skilled - just tall.
so if the ball ever got stuck on the highest point of the back board, he could just stand on his tip toes and reach it Haven't seen him play obviously, but I can't imagine he's very athletic at that size regardless of : BUT he'll sure as heck sell tickets!!!!!
hits his head on the rim without leaving his feet I wonder if there is any video of him playing - kicking around somewhere??
Basketball is a game where height is the only requirent to be a fine player. You need not posses much skill but be blessed with height.
I agree, being athletic is FAR more important than being tall. Not to mention the fact that a lot of the time, tall = short career on account of injuries or whatever. it's rare to have both: Stoudemire, Garnett, Duncan, etc.
i think he's useless to most of teams... he have way more chances of getting fouled out... and as his record shows he's not that good ... he's not worth it.
This reminds me of this quote: http://thinkexist.com/quotation/you_know_the_world_is_going_crazy_when_the_best/289591.html
