Yes, I am well aware of SEO, so dont start going into SEO & justifying why the #1 ranks first please. I already know why.
Start with backlinks, move over to anchor text, then to surrounding text. It's all about context and relevancy. A band named "Him" should show up over the Wikki article rehashing the same info about a band named Him. Many other factors but the fact that most "SEO" experts here still think PR is only related to links means you'll be hard pressed to find someone to explain. Cheers
As metioned, I am well aware of SEO, and I know why the websits ranks no #1, I do not require an explination, I just want to open a few peoples eyes, thats all
Not to be a jerk...but I don't get it. The big deal about this whole thing was what, exactly? If anything, you've given this guy yet another link. OK, he's all linked out, and he's got a PR6 with minor traffic. Soooooooooo.....what?
Not really, I have seen many sites like this. If I were to create a proper SEO site, I could prolly go a head of it quite easily.
Where do the sites in your signature rank for your term? You've had 3 years to work on some of those.
I doubt it. This site's SEO is mostly offsite and onsite factors dont matter. Once it gets to press releases, its hard to beat these sites. I dont get this thread. If you admire this site, great. No need to post it and stating you know everything because people in this forum are trying to understand SEO.
I wont get in a argument here, as to ranking. I rank #1 in most of my top terms. The SEO site is a new gig and is building up. Will be a pr 5 soon!
