I am wishing to sell my proxy site that I has been open since November. It current has a Google PageRank of 4/10 and a great alexa ranking of 171,602. It comes with the template which I paid for you currently see on site.

Something unusual with the stats. You go from 15,000 visitors down to 300 in less than a week. Could we see more than a month's stats and could you explain the reasons for the huge up and down swings in traffic?

 

300 visitors is because on the proxy you had to click text saying "Click here to usee proxy" once clicked the url form and a adversal pop up aroused. This greatly discouraged visitors so then I took it off and stats went up again

 

I don't understand. A visitor is a visitor to the web site, not user of the proxy. The visitor would have to show up to see the proxy in order to decide whether or not to use it.

Regardless, that is also one day. Within a span of two weeks your visitors range from 300 to 11,000 uniques. They go up and down. After that one time you explained above the number of visitors only went up to around 1,500. That still doesn't explain the variation. With stuff like this it usually tells me that some marketing or other partnership deal was on and off. What was the prior month's traffic in December 06?

I just said, or if I haven't already I have not paid for this site to be advertised. The only time I had traffic come buy paying is one I got 200 visitors for paying a guy on $1 my url on his forums which was shortly deleted.

There is no proxy script in that template...

 

You're traffic doesn't match up with your google results.

- this means some people don't directly go to main page but just proxified pages then continue surfing from there
