hi, is there anywhere where i can send my paypal money to where i can then withdraw it to a bank account? I cannot do it straight from paypal as i have a suspended account under my bank account as paypal accepted a chargeback to one of my buyers for £400 3 months after they had recieved the goods! Anyway my paypal account is unverified and in the UK. is there anywhere i can send the money where i can then withdraw it to my bank account? thanks
I doubt you can do that. If your account is not limited yet you can use to send money to some of your friend's paypal account and withdraw to his/her bank account and get from him. Assuming that your paypal account is not limited and has some sending limit.
Or you could use a friends bank account to get your paypal account verified. Unless the paypal account is in your name, which would come as a surprise to me since you already have a account with limited acccount access. My suggestion is to get your money out of there as fast as possible. Because you never know when they might link it to your previous account and give you a limitation.
@ mubin - exactly so i need a route set up to get in out asap when it comes in. if i bought e-golf with it could i then transfer egold with an exchanger to my bank account? if so, how? thanks
It is not possible to get egold directly in bank even using third party exchangers. You would need to cashout it using some debit cards (egold debit cards) and then deposit to your bank.
@lamont if you have someone that can change paypal to egold than cool, Im pretty sure you can cash out egold with Western Union as well. But be cool with the person and dont do it with anyone here because there funds might be restricted if Paypal puts a hold on them. You can see on my blog that I have had alot of trouble with eBay and Paypal. They are both horrible companies to deal with. Also http://www.paypalsucks.com, and http://www.mubinahmed.com
unfortunately i know better than most about what paypal and ebay are about. I wont use anyone on this forum. i would use a couple of mates from work. thanks for the help guys
Err, I would think that if your paypal account is suspended, any fund transfer out of the account would also be suspended during that time frame. You might want to check if you can actually take the money out by some other means because all access to your paypal money still needs to go through your paypal account. Just to add about your initial note that you sold and delivered some goods to someone who 3 months later requested for a chargeback. What you need to do is to go back to Paypal, provided proof of delivery and if possible of receipt and Paypal should rule in your favor. Of course if you do not do anything, it would show that you are the one who cheated the buyer.
Paypal shouldnt have opened a claim after 3 months, the staue of limiations on paypal claims is 45 days I thought?
Yes it is. So if after 45 days someone claim of file a dispute against a payment, paypal won't take any action but they will email you that a dispute has been filed against .... payment but they are not taking any action because it was claimed after 45 days. However they reserve the right for next 180 days to review this payment (this means RISK )
Ahh yes, well as he says this is not the same paypal account, but a new one. So he needs to find a way to get hte money out of his new account.
Ah, well then in that case, he is probably tried between a rock and a very hard place. An unverified account without any linked bank account or credit card would probably not be entitled to withdraw anything from it. An unverified account has a fixed limit of something like US$100 withdrawal limit and that's pretty much it. Guess the only way around is to look for another payment provider or just fix the suspended account and move on. Take the lost as part of the cost of doing business. Like I say, with the disputed transaction, try to get that issue resolved. If Paypal finds out that you started another account, you may get this one suspended too. I believe there was someone else who was in that situation and got his new account suspended too.
I think if he is trying to open a personal account with the same bank account, paypal may not suspend his new account. But since he already have an unverified paypal account so the best suggestion for him is to add a credit card (if the amount he want to send it more then 100$) and send it to his/her friend and withdraw to his/her bank account.
Hi not sure if it is the same in the USA as in the UK, but the chargeback was done through the buyers bank not just through paypal. im not sure whether there is a time frame on these types of chargeback. at the time the chargeback was initiated i no longer had proof of postage or tracking number for the item so there was little i could do. it is about 18 months since the account was suspended and it has been completely locked now. do you think i could use the same bank account on this account? thanks
I don't think you're allowed to use the same bank account as a suspended account, I know you can't use the same credit card. My brother had an account that was suspended but luckily I managed to close the account so can use his bank details on my PP account now
my suspended account is now closed, are you able to use his bank account after it was suspended? thanks
If your suspended account is closed by Paypal, it is not really closed as they still have records about it. You can try adding your bank account which you used and see if that work. It should tell you almost instantly if it is.
