This is a reluctant sale of my image hosting site. The site is custom coded and a custom theme to it. The site was bought for image hosting on my forum but not alot of my users used it so i started to make something of the site and have taken out a few ads and its now getting some traffic. I have just added the ads to the site and has made $10 from Dec - Jan. The main income from the site how ever is from the text links $45 per month on the text links alone. I had banner ads as well running and sold 2 slots at $20 each.

do you have any form of back-end to the site and are the external page links as a result of advertising by you or just general?

 

I think there is a total of 6-7 propper links and i did a few myspace and there is a few who have put links to the site and also word of month on some forums who tend to use it to host there images.

 

How much revenue is there?

 

I have already said i have only just added the ads at the side of the site its $10 but the main money has come from text links at $45 per month.

I have also added google tracker to the site to those who pm asking about this i will leave it on for and get some stats to you all

 

Eep sorry I didn't see that somehow. Are you selling text link ads through a website, or handling it on your own? Do the people you're selling them to have commitments to keep the links on your site?

 

What are the terms of the links?
Is there a an admin section?

 

the links i have sold have been between 3 months and 1 month i have sold links through sites that deal with links and alot were done here the links so far have been from dp users and on other sites i have went with selling max 5 on header and 4 on the footer. i have kept track on this with a excell file paypal is also good for the dates. I can show those who want the site i have used to sell 4 slots for the past 3 month!

there is not a admin section as such there is a place admin can upload files with no Bandwidth limit or size limit!

 

have you ever used adsense? is it banned from adsense?

 

this site is not banned from adsense when i took the site over it had YPN and had also had Adsense on it I myself have not used it on the site and no bidvertiser pays low but i myself am banned from google.

 

leadingzero , I think google bans people not sites because DP revenue sharing system has much banned people already (notice sometimes pages with no google ads and "page not found" showing in ad spots )
