Disgusted with Blogger

I've spent so much time creating 8 sites on Blogger and they are down every other day it seems like including today. Why can't a company as big as Google have a more reliable service. I am sorry I wasted so much time on them.

 

You're right - they're down again. Seems like every day, but for free of charge you can't expect too much. You pay peanuts you get monkeys. Keep an eye on Blogger Status if you're interested, although even that is down at the moment.

 

My ftp based blogspot blog seems to be fine! It is never down!

 

yup its down less impressions less adsense less dough

 

why don't you spend some money to get your own domain and webhosting..

 

Because I created most of them before I had any money for that.

 

So do that now, import your stuff and switch over.

 

I've had alot of problems with blogger too.

 

Too many blogspot blogs.Get a host yourself is the way go.

 

Once you've got a taste of Wordpress you'll never look back ...

 

Couldn't agree with you more. I made the move 3 months ago and never looked back. Although host had some issues this past month, everything seems to be fine now as upgrades have taken into effect with great success.

Not always that much better. I have 1 site on paid Hosting and it's been down for 2 days.

 

Well what about Myspace? It has always been a favorite for making money and what's more it never completely crashes. I have been using it for 4 years and I have never have too many problems with my profile space.

 

Getting your own domain and server is the only way to go. There are so many quality hosts out there that won't break your budget either.

I thought the same thing, just ensure your host doesn't think that your 100 PV a day Wordpress blog isn't too much of a resource hog on their seriously oversold servers like my old one did when they suspended my account... In my case blogger's problems would have been a step up

 

Yeah, I've been having big problems with Google's blog site, too. I'm going to have to find a new blog site, too. Can anyone suggest a good one?
