    Hello,

Can I just say first of all, that I am using my brother's account to post this, as my account, BRUm, if you know that account, has been stolen.

I have PM'd digitalpoint on many occasions with concrete proof that I am who I say I am, and that my account has been compromised. I have waited a week for replies but I haven't received any. I really don't want to make a new account because my account has 1,000+ posts and 11 iTrader. Is there anything I can do? Moderators out there, could you help me? I have a great amount of proof.

Let this be said, the person using my account BRUm, is an impostor

Yeah, I did that originally which didn't help. So I had to PM shawn. I hope this gets resolved soon :(

The person who is using BRUm, if you are reading this, please could you get in contact with me. I haven't judged you, I only wish to speak so we can sort this out.

Heh, thanks mate :) I knew trying to keep up a good standard of English would pay-off one day.

Those links don't seem to work though :/

I don't know what the mods can do about that. But remember that you should be responsible to look after your accounts. It's just not the mods' job. So take care of your account next time.

I thought I was being responsible. The hacker managed the retrieve my password using SQL Injection on one of my sites. So the only irresponsible thing I did was using the same password for too many sites :(

I banned the user but there's nothing else we can do. I'm sure Shawn will get to it when he has a chance.

When was it stolen, so I know which posts to delete?

Thanks Rob. That's the thing - I know exactly the date and roughly the time it was stolen. That's why I am surprised it took so long for action to be taken. The day my DP account was stolen (Along with my namecheap, gmail and bank account) was Tuesday the 16th of January.

Jesus Christ! No that's not my bid! I hope there aren't more things like that!

Brew, I foolishly used my password for nearly everything. I'm making an online game which isn't the most secure of sites. So my guess is that someone with SQL knowledge got my password, tried my email address with it too, to see if they could have a nice email to go with it. They got in, saw all my emails, tried the password with all the sites listed in my inbox and bingo, he has my namecheap account, iTunes account etc.. Worst thing is, because all of my bank details are already stored on my iTunes account, the hacker logged in and bought music :( So I had to ring my bank and now I have to follow through a 'Transaction Dispute'.

I write my passwords down for different sites and hide them in a really really secret place that i only i know of, and that nobody can gain access to. I memorize all of them, and when i forget, i refer to the sheet, after i get past the dodgey lock..

If all your friends come into your bedroom, i DONT recommend this method. I live in a village, and i never have anyone in my room, because they don't want to walk 5km from the nearest town to get here.
