is it just boost my SERP on yahoo?

    hello all, i want to submit to yahoo dir, but before i do that,
    i want to ask... will it help me to boost my SERP on google search engine too??? or just boost my SERP on yahoo search engine?

    any experience? thanks a lot.

    I have a site listed in Yahoo and I haven't noticed any real boost in any search engine, but then again its hard to tell.

    I don't think google has even indexed the page my site appears on.

    I mean the directory too. Some pages aren't indexed by google and some are only cached every 6 months.

    Submit to yahoo directory will help your overall SEO, not just for one search engine. And yahoo directory and yahoo search engine are 2 different things, submit to yahoo directory doesn't mean will give you high ranking in yahoo SERPs. And only submit to 1 directory will not help you too much in SERPs, because you need many, many qualified backlinks for SEO.
