Is DMOZ banned from Google

    There is only one category in the dmoz directory that Google refuses to recognize (that I'm aware of) and is a PR0. It's PR0 in Google's version of the directory also. Been this way for quite some time. ;)

    Google would not leave dmoz in any manner as Google looked for websites in the begining by indexing Dmoz when Google was started in 1998

    So I think there would not be day in future where it would not index Dmoz

    Google is providing DMOZ in backlinks and DMOZ provide content to google T_T, i don't ever think google will ban DMOZ, they need each other

    I always suspected that they are corrupted bastards. Google DO NO EVIL stop using DMOZ database. Create your own. I can be chief editor.

    It would be nice if DMOZ*WERE* banned from Google.... It's impossible to get an editorship and impossible to get added. Talk about corruption and conflict of interest.

    I couldn't agree more. DMOZ editors are free to add nearly unlimited pages to the adult section of DMOZ, and someone like me gets banned soon after I mention the problem with multiple listings in DMOZ.
