    dont submit your site to goodwaiter, all they do is leech off of you.

    and by not going for SE traffic, you are missing on A LOT!

    I just got my site submitted, all there site does is redirect them straight to the proxy, so if you run Google ads on the main page they never get seen by visitors from goodwaiter.com

    Looks like I might have to start using popup ads.

    Stick some code in your proxy header that checks the referrer. If it's goodwaiter, redirect them to your homepage.

    On that note, how do I URL encode my proxies for submission to goodwaiter?

    Submit to goodwaiter don't cost $$$, but TGB :D (if TGB != $$$ :D)
    Just email them, maybe need a backlink.

    Email and backlink is all it takes, but I'd recommend against it unless you've got a really good strategy to moneterize the traffic on the proxied pages as opposed to the main page, they skip the main page which is a pain...also expect a heap of traffic if you do join their list...ie, don't be on a shared or VPS plan, you'll need a box minimum to cope with it.

    For goodwaiter I just use the following .htaccess file in my cgi-bin directory..

    # Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} ^http://(www\.)?goodwaiter.com.*$ [NC]
    RewriteRule \.*$ http://www.proxyproject.com/ [R,L]

    Isn't that 1TB?

    As in 1 Terabyte.....
    1TGB would mean 1 Teragigabyte....:rolleyes:

    I wouldn't advise any one to use netfirms, they have really bad business practices!
