But on the day of the arrests, the information that everyone received said that the attack was only days away...the information about the passports came out later...besides why is olberman still talking about this? It happened months ago. Does he not have anything better to do than to harp on something that is months old? No wonder he has poor ratings.

Let's see how many of them are released without charge eh GT?

Just like the "chapatti flour" trial currently going on. It will be interesting to see what happens in this trial.

Oh and it looks like one of your PNAC Neocon friends needs some new socks! :D

Yeah, speaking of news in Australia:

    Aussies called to jihad
They probably just took the quran "out of context" and not "all" muslims think this way, so we shouldn't worry

It's not politically incorrect to be informed ;)

It would be interesting to see what "evidence" is being referred to?

Turns out he (the alleged soldier in the kidnapping plot) was a British Muslim eh GT.

As all Muslims are terrorists in your eyes then I am surprised you even mentioned it. ;)

And you thought I didn't know that? I watched it on TV quite a few times today. Not only a muslim, but one who served YOUR country in Afghanistan. And the people you want to see released wanted to kill him.

I believe you get this idea, because you believe no muslims are terrorists and actually work hard to give their credit away to others. Therefore, you twist your own belief opposite, to suggest I believe all are. The famous "all" card! Though I've clearly never said such, nor do I believe so. You forget, the people of Iraq ARE muslim. I support them, because I know many/most ARE peaceful people that want to get on with their lives and I want the US and the Iraqi Army to bring down the terrorist threat. You, on the other hand, want the US to pull out so the terrorists to take over.

Talk about a twist of fate about who thinks what about whom

No, that's for the guys currently on trial now. Lots of damning evidence against them too. The charity I will donate your money to is still the same. ;)

    LOL! You wish! :D

No, the bet we had on was another bunch - the one where the 'members of the public' remarkably found a 'secret stash' in the woods just after the police had swooped in their 'intelligence led' raids - so intelligence led that no-one knew about the 'stash' in the woods.

<edit> Here you go - I even found a US news site so you'd feel better about reading it ;)
    http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2006-08-10-britain-terror_x.htm

    The so-called 'plane plot'.

LOL I remember that old chestnut.

It was as remarkable as one of the terrorists passports being found on 9/11 and the perfect collapse of WTC7 mate.

It seems like it was forever ago!

    I found the post:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=122097

The liquid explosive guys. So yes, you were correct. You guys have so many terrorists over there and so many trials, it's hard to keep track of them all :D
