Dup content penalty for mirror site?

    I set up a mirror of my merchant site on a subdomain, with a robots nofollow noindex tag. That should be ok isn't it? No dup content penalty?

    if you set up the robots.txt you dont have to worry

    Is it possible to set up robots.text around dynamic content? We have a mirror site available but I'm am no hot stuff coder, exactly how would I do this or is it too complex to explain in a post?

    No I actually moved hosts a while back and never uploaded the robots.txt

    I mean the meta tag on each page:
    <meta name="ROBOTS" content="noindex,nofollow">

    Will that be ok?

    That's ok. But make sure you add meta robot tag to every page of your subdomain, or you'd better try robots.txt.
