A friend of mine signed this contract, it was scanned and send by mail then.
    Both parties signed.
But is this contract legally ok?

    Is that contract legally ok?
Could I rebuild the site under the domain name: desire-net.com instead of desire-network.com?

The contract was printed by both parties, signed, and scanned again.
    Then they pasted it together.

    Is that legal to?

Anyone under 18 cannot be legally bound to any contract they sign.

Do you see that "Edit" button? You might want to use that sometimes.

I think you should mention something about the consideration that the other party is giving in return for your services.

You should also fix the grammatical errors, of which are numerous.

Unless you mention the consideration mentioned by the other party a English court could find that there isnt a legally binding contract.

    Offer
    Acceptance
    - Whats the consideration?

If you mention what you are getting in return for the terms then you can avoid any confusion if any aspect of the terms are breached by the other party.

No that doesnt matter as much. So long as you can prove that you both intended to be legally bound.

Which is what the signature shows.

O right, you wanted to get out of it. Lol.

    You probably could have anyway.

Let me know what you did and how you figure that you are free.

    I am interested to know!

    Thanks.,

    Oh my freakin' goodness.

You're asking non-lawyers around here "is this contract legally ok"?

    Am I missing something?

    Am I?

If I were the OP, I'd ask that potentially sensitive legal question to a licensed,
experienced professional rather than in an online forum. And those who have
answered so far aren't lawyers, unless I see one raising his/her hand.

I understand the desire to help. But we have to be careful what information
we post online, especially when sensitive issues like legal ones are involved.

But that's just me. To each his/her own.

I can't say Im fully qualified (as in not yet graduated), but *raises hand*

And you dont even have to go through law school anyway to know about the formation of a contract and even if you did, its the first thing you ever learn in contract law. Offer, the mirror acceptance, presence of consideration = legally binding contract, not withstanding some conditions ofc.

And the idea of a forum is to share views and opinions and experiences. If you dont understand that point then its pretty pointless joining a forum community.
