Can I switch my premier account to personal account?

Just curious about it.
Is this possible? I noticed that I need not to pay anything for transaction if my account is personal.

Nope. you have send them request from your account to downgrade account.
they do this normally within 24 hrs.

 

Once you revert, you cannot go back again. However, it is permitted in Paypal TOS that you can have 1 personal + 1 premier/business account. It does not cost you anything to maintain the premier account so keep it, who knows, you may actually need it in the future.

 

Remember, you can't accept credit card payments if you have a personal account.

But you can do it once only!

 

You can receive only up to 5 credit card payments a year and that comes with a higher fees compared to the premier/business accounts.

 

You can downgrade for ONCE only but theres no point in downgrading as paypal allows you to have one premier/business and one personal account < ofcourse , with different mail addresses > .
Premier accounts are required to accecpt CC funded payments whereas personal account can accept somewhere around 5 CC payments .

Having both premier and personal accounts is a better idea

 

That's 5 credit card transactions per year with the Personal Account at the higher service charge of 4.9% + 30cents as opposed to the 1.9 to 2.9% + 30 cents on a Premier/Business account.
