Hi all, Yesterday, I reached my first 50$ from adsense. It took approximately 3 months for me to reach that figure. I a just curious to know about you all. How much time it took for you to earn 50$?
the first 50$ is the hardest. I remember I make my first 100$ after 5 months of trying with just one website. Now, i never look back with 200$ per month.
at start to be honest i made first 50$ in like 5 months but then gradually i reached a app. 100$ per day my site was Sizwarez.com its sold now....i have made a total of 4000$ from my site in 1 year
Oops, from blog I earn some bit only (because of lazy updating), but main income comes from non-blogs

There are many reasons why your first $50 takes longer that the next and then the next again. IMHO, one of the cheif amongst these is that many new sites are set up and Adsense then added to it. These sites are often not SEO optimised to begin with and rank poorly in the search engines for relevant terms, they could even be sandboxed. As a result a smaller % of your visitors come from the search engines. These search engines are so important to CPC programmes like Adsense because they drive TARGETED traffic to your site and guess what Adsense provides, yes that's right TARGETED ads. Increase your SERP's for your keywords and you will by default increase your Adsense earnings.
I reached $50 a month after 2 1/2 months of blogging seriously. I had started blogs off and on in the past, but never took things seriously. For all you websites owners out there, ADD A BLOG TO YOUR SITE! It's great for attracting links, giving visitors incentive to visit on a daily or frequent basis.
Yes, I understand. The more indexed pages with lot of keywords mean, lot of traffic from search engines, right?
Search engine generated traffic is key, (again IMHO!). Providing you write relevant content for your site, that is search engine friendly you should increase your search engine rankings. Once you start to get noticed by the Search engines and indexed you should see a steady increase in the numbers of visitors to your site that come via the search engines. These visitors are the ideal profile for your Adsense ads (providing your ads are relevant to your pages!!!). Increased relevant visitors should = increased adsense earnings. It's not the numbers of visitors that counts, its the number of relevant visitors. We can all go out and buy traffic but this traffic won't click your ads because the ads and your pages don't mean anything to them. Concentrate on getting better SERP's and your revenues will follow.
Search Engine is the best way to get free traffic, but while writing contents be sure to add some good relevant keywords to your articles, use like www.goodkeywords.com and that gives you more traffic to the same page with different relevant keywords..
