Ok this website used to be hosted with asmallorange.com but after there downright awful support i moved it to a friends server.

I dont have the stats from the asmallorange server. I only have the stats from my friends server. I have been hosted on my friends server now for 4 days.

The site is hosted on Cpanel, user will have the option to download a Full Cpanel Backup and re-run it on their site, the site is powered by PHProxy.

I want to sell this site because I want to put together a large amount of money to build a large project.

Thats a shame, asmallorange have a brilliant reputation for support. But i dont mean to hijack your thread.

I would consider offering $400 but the fact that you only have had revenue for 20 days makes me cautious.

If your open to lower offers i shall make one, if not, i wont.

Its a nice website. $400 is a little to much for it, but its 12 months of revenue your asking, I guess its worth it.

This site is NOT worth $400, it isnt even worth $200 in my opinion.

#1) Your adsense revenue image isnt working for me, but I can't believe you are making such a huge revenue from adsense. I have run a proxy site before with adsense and never got that much from it in one month. Please reupload that image or check that it is working because I gotta see it!

#2) Your domain has the word 'proxy' in it. From my experience, filters either auto block all domains with the keyword 'proxy' or they have automatic bots that scan history logs of sites visited and block all urls that have the word proxy on them or in their domain. So therefore, this site will be blocked by all filters very fast.

#3) There is nothing special about the script, it is downloadable for free and is easy to install.


I just sold my site unfilter.net which is a multiproxy service for $150 which was in my opinion quite nice. $400 is ridiculous!

 

toolblast you sold unfilter.net for a very cheap price. Why did you sell it for anyway? And he can try it to sell it for $400, but if no one buys it, he will lower it.

 

I agree with Toolblast that this particular site being sold had very minimal customizations to the standard free version. Also with the fact that proxy is in the domain name, you can't rely on the traffic growing.

It may very well do well, but odds are against it with that domain name.

 

I would agree that maybe it's not worth 12 months revenue with no pattern and less than a full month to judge, but it is certainly possible to make $35 from a proxy homepage with that much traffic and that many ads.

 

shahab6, I sold it simply because I needed the money for an ebay auction that I had won and was about $100 short in my paypal to pay for it very quickly. So I needed at least $100 within that day to pay off the auction, otherwise I would of had to do a bank transfer which would have been a pain for me. So, I put the domain and script up for auction and at the end of the day $150 was the highest bid so I went with it. I could have gotten more for it im sure, but everyone had their chance

my3cents, you are absolutely correct. I'd say if it has as much popularity in traffic as they claim, it will be on all the filter's global deny list within a month or less.

Moncal, even if it DOES get $35, it will be blocked within 1 or 2 months. Therefore, at its present state the most it will ever be worth is $70 plus the domain name... at thats a max price and assuming it will last unblocked for 2 months. But $400? I dont think so.

 

I have to disagree with you, toolblast. I currently own a proxy called VProxy and it has been running for over 8 months. Every month I've had it, its grown in terms of earnings and traffic. I currently have over 2000 uniques a day and am earning well over $35 a month with adsense.

If the site is earning $35 a month (with steady and not spiking daily earnings), then it is well worth $400.

Such a phproxy site will not be allowed on a virtual hosting if it becomes busy. You'll need to buy your own server.
