Is anyone using Adbrite for PPC ringtone traffic and actually seeing an ROI?

I tried targeting specific sites for a flat rate per week and also their keyword targeting ppc program and couldn't achieve a roi with either. Maybe something I'm doing wrong but I wasn't able to figure it out.

The big problem with the PPC network on Adbrite for a campaign like ringtones is that you can't separate your keywords into adgroups. You can have multiple ads, but they are not tied to any keywords specifically. You have to actually set up seperate campaigns the way you would an adgroup to get any kind of relevancy in your ads/keywords. I'd say test the flat rate ads, but stay away from the ppc network.

I am testing adbrite now and I managed to get two leads using the payperclick system but it was 2 out of 350 clicks. I spunt 43.00 and made: 28.50. I stopped that real quick, now I am testing flat rate ads and so far the jury is still out.

I tried adbrite and had no luck. All it did was eat up some profit from my other campaigns. It didn't perform well for me, but I only spent 60 bucks for a week of ads on various sites. Maybe spending a few hundred to get on a big site with millions of page views would be a different story. I found that any site that had an audience who might be interested in ringtones was covered in ringtone ads. The curiousity clicks I got from the other sites didn't convert. I got 2 or 3 conversions from 588 clicks and two of them were UK offers, so they paid a lot less. A good lesson, but it cost me.

Maybe an e mail or zip submit offer would do good there? Not ringtones.

Right now my toolbar looks like this 530 clicks. 2 Leads. payout 28.50 and eCPc: 0.05
I will keep on reporting if anything good happens.

Watch out for Adbrite PPC, I used them a few times and stopped as a result of rampant click fraud. Their flat rate text ads worked better for me.

When I first started with Azoogle AdBrite was my primary source of traffic. It was basically required at the time because I was on a super-slim budget and needed to control it. I have not used it for some time but I keep meaning to go back and do some more work on there. Ultimately I was able to make enough revenue through adbrite to get the ball-rolling and expand my offerings and my programs to other places. You can definitely make money there, but it can take some work.

Adbrite is a tough cookie to crack the key is using their network system to find the good blogs or sites then buyout all the ads on that site that gets good return so you have no competition and the webmaster is happy. This has worked for me. Plus work with one of their reps this helps a ton. BTW i currenlty do not use adbrite for ringtones.
