Warez forums are not illegal?

    Well, an idea passed my mind just now.
    Warez forums are not illegal.
    The dont store the files on their servers (some they do but they are just exceptions) so dont break any law for distributing illegal files.
    Or maybe there is a law which says that giving out information about where to find illegal data is prohibited?

    I think they frown upon linking towards a "file holding warez server" though.

    In your license agreement with your host you'll often read that it's not allowed to hava any warez related things on your host.
    Also includes links to warez.

    If you're just talking about Warez then it's ok. But whats a Warez community without links to warez stuff... that's like a chocolate bar without the chocolate.

    Some hosts allow warez related content, but I'm guessing you would pay a premium for that privilege

    Forum will support and promote warez software idea, which will support the illegal. I think it’s bad.

    Peekvid does not host any videos, they just link to/embed videos hosted on other websites.
