If you have a lot of free time spend some time posting around forums and on your signature link your site; if you have said something useful I'm sure people will click your link You should also link to some free directories, there are tons of them!
I know that traffic exchanges can cop a bit of a raw deal, but I don't think they should be completely disregarded. It is important to makes sure that you use a good quality one though, that is, one that is actually promoting activity and building a successful community. Sorry if I sound defensive, but not all traffic exchanges are a waste of time. Unfortunately the majority can be nothing but a waste of bandwidth, which gives the rest of us a bad name. Self promotion again, but I am creating a forum dealing expressly with the development of traffic, so if you want, feel free to drop by. Yeah, sites like these are legal, but I am not sure how this one stays afloat... The maths doesn't add up. For an exchange to be successful and keep traffic flowing there needs to be a surplus, so that people keep surfing. It's just the mathematics behind te's. Like I said before, these can be a great means of earning traffic - but not to be used on their own. You still need to work on bringing quality backlinks and making your site the best it can be. btw- David26... Why spam? If you are so proud of your site, why don't you explain things a bit better?
