Slow and easy wins the race?

I am a very patient guy. I am in no rush. I like all parts of web design. Trying out a CMS here. Learning about styling there. Doing some photoshop tutorials. Improving my writing. So I am not big into rushing into SEO and Link Building.

So to do it the right way? Whats the best advice?

Link build? Increase SERPs? Everything everyone is wanting to happen in a blink of an eye.

Well, if you are doing it the slow and steady way, you should continue to add content and quality to your site. Probably the best way too for SEO. But of course, make sure you get to know the basics like keywords placement, title tags and so on.

Well If you can, I would suggest build links & pages slowly, looks more natural

Well I think it's because you are asking about the WHOLE ball of wax in a single thread.. kinda tough...

People write entire books on the subject and each board here contains hundreds of threads on the various aspects...

How can we possibly sum it up into one? You'll likely get 'one off' nOOb comments ...

..or it could just be me [IMG]

    Give yourself six months.
Start of whatever you choose to do slowly and pick up the pace over time.
    Do something every week.
Start with submitting articles to www.EzineArticles.com and then research more into directories, social bookmarking and viral marketing.

I don't expect a question like that from a member that has that many post and has been around the boards for a while.

Slow and easy does wins the race. But it depends what your product/info is about. slower is better focus on one or two things at a time it will be better that way.

You have to learn SEO first and then do the rest of the things with SEO in your mind. That is the right way of doing it.
