http://animeomnitude.com I get quite a lot of traffic each day but I don't get alot of kicks and barely make $3/day when I should be earning $10+/day Help please
why don't you put the 1 block of Ads 300x250 there may even achieve a better effect, also change your site links to a colour and then make the links of Adsense the same colour always worth trying even consider changing this banner to an image only Ad http://animeomnitude.com/images/banner1.jpg simply add the text News Updates, Content to the top banner then a paragraph of text and then the block
I think you must change your adsense placement .. For example don't put adsense code in homepage for your CPM .. And you can change the colors and the place of adsense .. Not on top the page, place it in your content ..
The problem may be more fundamental. Few relevant advertisers. When I visited, only one of the four ads had anything to do with anime. There was a villa rental in La Manga, Lolita Gothic shop and The Sopranos on A&E. Only MapleStory.com had anime content. Refreshing the page only made it worse with two identical ads for La Manga villa rentals and no ads relevant to anime. I suspect visitors are not clicking because they are not finding any advertisers worth pursuing in the anime category. You might want to explore other publishers' program such as Yahoo to see if they have more relevant advertisers.
Somehow I think ads are more relevant now. I see one saying "Classic anime from 5GBP" and "Kubrick and Japanese toys" BTw Ive taken your advice and changed the 2 200x200s to one 300x250
While images next to ads has been used for some time, currently it seems they have fallen in disfavor. By all means check the Adsense TOS before adding images.
Irrelevant ads showed up when I visited also, unless you have something on there about "Lost" returning to ABC or "download TV free". I bet those are low paying clicks when someone clicks on them. Here's a couple things that might help. Change the tile color from Gold to Blue. Everyone expects a blue link to click. A small ad link over on the right hand navigation might just help also. Blend it in with the menu items. Next, move that big box ad down a little bit and put some text around it, some relevant text...and bold some keywords. You might also try and rename some of your banners and pictures with names like "anime" or "omnitude" or whatever you'd like to show up. I know on some of my pages, AS get's some of it's contextual readings off the pics file name. You might also change some of the "alt" and "title" tags to relevant keywords. Same deal, AS will read those as well. I did a trial a few months ago and changed file names to some irrelevant names on my site. For example, I used "Mickey Mouse" in a alt tag and renamed one of the pics "John Wayne". A short while later I started getting ads for Disney and John Wayne movies showing up about 10-20% of the time. I really think the big problem is that you don't have enough relevant content around those ads. It also looks like prime hunting ground for some aff products or CPA ads. You might try some of those type ads and see if you can get some love from them. Don
why don't you get rid of adsense and find something else to promote? and stop selling your traffic to adsense for a couple of cents?.. Lily
i hate non-relevant ads, even with lots of good content around the ads, i still get lotta crap, any other hints for relevant ads?
read this http://adsense.blogspot.com/2006/12/ad-and-image-placement-policy.html . images near the ads are not allowed
