Can't you believe that the highest PR page of my site is my administration entrance. my site is www.top10s.net (PR 2) my administration entrance URL: http://www.top10s.net/administrator/ (PR3)
but what i dont quite understand is my administration entrance which doesn't have any backlinks or any content at all which im the only one in or out of that page at most of the time. can i think it this way, it is as simple as the homepage of google's, and simplest page with high page views would have more PR? im confused!
Hmm... I tried yahoo site explorer and found out that your administration entrance page has 700+ internal links to it but no links from other sites. That's the only backlinks it has. Really weird.
I don't think it is weird now, cuz i found out something! if you compare the homepage of yahoo and google, we all know about yahoo has the highest traffic which ranks number one at the alexa and google is the 3rd, but google has the 10 PR and yahoo has 8or9 PR. if the simpler page has the same among of traffic to the one has more content ( more stuff at the page, same among traffic) would have more PR. it could be a good tip to have more PR. I am going to test it a bit see if it works.
Another thing I noticed is that your administration page has only one outgoing link. Also, it has no link to your homepage (which every page should have). And about selling links from your administration page, I don't think it's a good idea. PR is not the only consideration in buying link but also traffic. And I don't think it will link on that page will not generate good traffic for the links on that page.
