Ok now I shall tell you, I wanted to make this a 2 way talk, and while my views must be reflected by some people, they don't reflect what I think! However I did not want this topic to become basicly just saying it's sick, which it is. I don't want you thinking I am ok with snuf films and pedofiles, so I will post this before to many people don't come back and read this, my views posted here are not really my views!

Hah, I was still keeping up the act in that post, my point is I wanted to find to what degree people class as pedofilla (sp?). Anyhow, I don't want this topic to change to much, as to me the sight into the minds of others on a very touchy subject is very intresting.

There are, remember a 16 year old sleeping with a 15 year old is pedofillia, and if you class that as hard-core pedofillia you should go to a estate in England .

Im pretty sure it is classed as pedofillia in legal eyes, as in the boy would have to sign up to sex offenders, normally cases don't go this way, but sometimes in England they do. I will try and dig out a few news reports.

 

Depends on what the "age of consent" is, as well as what the age is to be considered a legal adult in a given municipality.

AFAIK in Wisconsin, 15 and 16 are not considered legal adults, though they may be able to legally consent. In Wisconsin, if you are 18 (age of a legal adult) and in a car witha 17 year old, and her shoes are off, it can be considered statutory rape. It's certainly not what I would consider pedofilia.

Looks like there was a law on the books that was upheld. I've not seen the actual case law, so outside of this story, it is hard to determine what was in the courts mind.

Hell, many people disagree with that old lady getting a million bucks from McDonalds when she spilt coffee on herself. Read the actual case law, and you would think much differently. She deserved 10 times that amount IMO.

Either way, I did not see anything in article that hinted that this was a pedofilia case. Looks like there was an old law on the books. Someone broke that law and was punished. Again, without knowing the full details outside of that article, it really difficult to come to any reasonable or fair judgment of that case.

I found this quite interesting. Gives me a bit more insight into that case.

Apparently it was an old law that made sodomy with anyone 15 or younger illegal, even if the person receiving was a teen as well. They have since changed the law and the Atlanta legislature is working to charge the boy under the new law, which would make the act a misdemenor instead.

Either way, the bigger problem here was that they recorded the dirty deed. What an idiot. Yeah, 10 years does seem harsh. I will agree, but it's obvious some type of punishment is probably warranted.

That's kinda like radio stations constantly telling you they have either the fewest interuptions, or none, meanwhile, they are interupting you to tell you that.

What I really love (not to keep going off topic here) is my XM which is supposed to be commercial free. Just about every station has commercials now. Those damn go to meeting commercials are driving me insane. So much for commercial free anything.

 

they have fewer interruptions, but the ones they do have are like 10 minutes long. thats the sports station here.

 

I know... Lately though I have been listening to the Canadian Comedy channel under the advice of a Bears fan. (153). It like the dirty comedy channel (150) as well, but that Candian one is just as nasty, and hilarious. If you can deal with the constant abuse of vowels like "O", it is really funny.

I seem to bounce around 26, 41 and 42, the last of which are hard rock and death metal. The 65 and up have some cool gansta rap. But the comedy channels are my favorite.

I abused the hell out of the MLB channels when the Cards were on their way to number 1.

What I really need is Video XM so the NHL stations can really come to life.
