Is there a way to stop ppl ripping MP3s of your site, like some protection (so they cant right click save link as or w/e?)

    Cheers.

I am not sure what exactly are you looking for but you can password protect the directory on which you are hosting the files < mp3 > so that only desired users have the access .

Sorry, lol. I meant that I want it so people can not save the mp3 to their computer. Like images (you can right click, save image).

So you want to allow them to play the mp3 files and not save them ..

lol thats right, if ti were possible. Obviously they could just record them, but it at least helps prevent it slightly.

You can embed them into java/flash applet that plays from a directory where it disable direct links/hot links but only from your site.

I set this up for before for a friend.
    It's pretty easy

Servage will let you to store mp3s, but they will not let you to share them. If you try to share those you might get caught because of bandwidth usage and get banned, but definitely you can store them as data storing is accepted in servage. :)

I think its not possible as MP3, due to the fact that it downloads into Cache.
But if you used certain converters (I don't know for sure if there is any but I bet Google does) you could probably convert it to some file no one has ever heard of and MP3's can't use :) Good luck!.

Yea, do that. If you code it into SWF then the only way the culprit can get it is if he somehow manages to hack your PC and bring up the like main file (like a PSD with layers etc).

All he can do is listen to it on his PC.
