I heard from somewhere that subdomain is hard to be indexed in the search engine. Is this true? Any proof for this statement? Please kindly advise. Thanks CheyneWong
In a manner of speaking it is. Subdomains get treated as a completely different site, so whatever "trust" the main site has gotten doesn't apply to the subdomain. This is why using subfolders is better in 99% of the cases.
