Subdomain problems

    I heard from somewhere that subdomain is hard to be indexed in the search engine. Is this true? Any proof for this statement? Please kindly advise. Thanks

    sub domains should be fine. Quite alot of the larger sites use them.

    Ranking is not affected if you are using a subdomain.

    In a manner of speaking it is. Subdomains get treated as a completely different site, so whatever "trust" the main site has gotten doesn't apply to the subdomain. This is why using subfolders is better in 99% of the cases.
